Missives: Adventures in letter-writing
Hello there!
Missives: Adventures in Letter-Writing (M.A.I.L.) is a letter-writing club at the University of Toronto. It was founded in the 2021-2022 school year and shall hopefully continue to inspire many a delightful correspondence for years to come.
This club has grown out of an initiative that ran from February to April 2021, when the pandemic had resulted in U of T students being confined to their rooms around the world. The recovery has begun, but letters continue to remain a meaningful, creative form of communication.
We can't wait to explore it with you this year!

About the Club
We aim to gather like-minded individuals within the U of T community to partake in the joys of letter-writing through club socials, pen-pal exchanges, and letter-affiliated projects in the community. Come join us to chat about the wax seals, envelope sizes, or the some of the most pressing controversies: should unmarked stamps be reused? Should sealed tea-bags be included in letter-mail? And most importantly: should the fine art of carrier pigeon mail be revitalized?
