FarmHouse Fraternity at Mississippi State University is awarding scholarships to qualifying students who are enrolled at Mississippi State University for the fall semester of 2018. Membership in FarmHouse Fraternity is not required to be eligible for the scholarship
Mississippi State FarmHouse Scholarships Purpose:
The Mississippi State FarmHouse Scholarships were established to assist deserving students in furthering their education goals and realizing a complete university experience while at Mississippi State University. The Fraternity awards scholarships on the basis of academic potential, demonstrated achievement, exemplary citizenship, and personal character. Membership in FarmHouse is not required.
Application Criteria:
Be a citizen of the United States of America
Be accepted for admission or enrolled at Mississippi State University as a freshman for the fall semester of 2018
Have a composite score on the ACT of at least 20
Be in the top 15% academically of your high school graduating class Have a class schedule of at least 12 hours for the fall semester of 2018
Amounts and Awards Date:
There will be multiple cash awards made with the highest being $1,000. Recipients will be notified prior to July 15 with payments being made in the first week in August.
Interview:
All finalists must undergo a personal interview by the scholarship committee which will be scheduled with convenience and distance kept in mind for the finalists.
Submission:
The completed application packet must be received no later than June, 30, 2018. The packet may be scanned and emailed to msstatefh.scholarship@gmail.com
