How Weather Affects Sunsets

A ideal sunset has mid level and high clouds, with a cloud coverage of 40-60%. Cumulus and cirrus clouds are preferred because of the reflection they pose. Humidity also has a role, lower humidity will cause more vibrant colors while higher humidity causes more stale colors. So if there is a high humidity, more than 60% or lower than 40%, and raining, do not expect a good sunset.
