Mark and Carolina Adams live in Corpus Christi, Texas, and work with the Kings Crossing church of Christ where they have been since 2014. Mark has been in full-time ministry--with a lot of help from Carolina--since 2004.
Mark and Carolina are alumni of Harding University (2003), where they met. Mark studied Biblical Languages and Carolina studied Marketing. Carolina completed her MBA at Harding in 2005. Mark completed his Master's of Divinity at the Harding School of Theology in 2011. Additionally, Mark completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at the Hazelip School of Theology at Lipscomb University in 2016.
Mark has been passionate about short-term missions since he went on a 2-week trip to Honduras as a senior in high school. The experience permanently shaped worldview and faith, and he enjoys trying to create similar experiences for others. This eventually led to his area of doctoral research: how a congregation's participation in short-term missions can help the sending congregation become more missional at home. If you're interested, you can download and read his dissertation here.
Carolina is originally from Durango, Mexico, and has been invaluable for the planning and implementation of mission trips to Spanish-speaking parts of North and Central America. She has worked with the marketing department at LifeWay Christian Resources for several years as an international strategist.
Together, Mark and Carolina have participated in trips to Monterrey, Mexico, and have led trips to Sarasota, Florida; Buenos Aires, Costa Rica; and Desamparados, Costa Rica.
This webpage is managed by Mark, and is a place for him to share documents related to the trips he leads.
