Who we are

Katie’s story is one of redemption, resilience, and unwavering faith. Raised in poverty alongside her eight siblings by parents struggling with addiction, she endured severe abuse throughout her childhood before entering foster care at fourteen years old. At sixteen, she experienced trauma that resulted in pregnancy, and at seventeen, she chose life and gave birth to her first child despite overwhelming fear and instability.

At twenty years old, the Holy Spirit radically transformed her life. Through faith in Jesus Christ, she found the strength to leave an unhealthy relationship, take her two children, and fully surrender her life to God. During this season of healing and restoration, she reunited with her high school sweetheart, whom she is now blessed to call her husband.

Today, Katie is a devoted wife and stay-at-home mother homeschooling their four children, raising them in faith and love for the Lord. Her mission is deeply personal—she understands the fear, pressure, and uncertainty many women face during pregnancy, but she also knows the life-changing power of God’s love and redemption.

Mission for Life was born from her testimony: that no woman is without hope, no child is without purpose, and no story is beyond God’s redemption.

Every person has a story that makes them beautifully and wonderfully unique. God showed me the power and importance of my own story, even when life felt impossible and the future uncertain. One day changed everything for me, and in that moment, the love of God became real in a way I had never experienced before.

As someone who spent part of my childhood in foster care before being adopted at the age of nine, I understand what it feels like to face uncertainty, struggle, and personal battles. Through every challenge, God’s grace and guidance carried me forward and shaped the man I am today. Because of that journey, I have a deep passion for helping others find hope, healing, and purpose in their own lives.

At Mission for Life Inc., my role goes beyond guiding financial decisions; it is rooted in God’s plan and focused on helping mothers and women find community, support, and hope, empowering them to choose life for God’s growing creation. Today, I am grateful to serve not only in ministry, but also as a husband to my wife Katie and a provider for our four children. My mission is to use both my testimony and leadership to encourage others to trust that even through life’s hardest moments, God is still writing a greater story.

Amanda is a dedicated professional, entrepreneur, and devoted mother of three who leads with compassion, resilience, and determination. With an extensive background working in foster care group homes, she has spent years supporting youth and families while making a meaningful impact in her community.

As a single mother, Amanda proudly takes on the role of both mom and dad every day, balancing the responsibilities of parenting, school schedules, and multiple jobs while continuing to pursue her goals. Her strong entrepreneurial background and unwavering work ethic reflect her commitment to building a better future for her family and those she serves.

Amanda is currently continuing her education to become a holistic doula, where she plans to provide birth support, guidance, and coaching for mothers seeking natural delivery experiences. Her passion for helping others, combined with her perseverance and heart for service, continues to inspire everyone around her.
