1957年4月26日に日本で初めて設置された花時計で、神戸市民有志から寄贈という形で設置されました。その後も費用の大半を市民の寄付で賄っています。2019年に今の場所にリニューアルされ3月28日に稼働を再開しています。現在の花時計はマリーゴールドを中心に3000株の花で形成されています。

また、花時計がある東遊園地には、1995年の阪神・淡路大震災の慰霊碑があり、毎年1月17日には追悼行事も行われている神戸市民にとって大切な場所になっています。

This Mission is to go through the Sannomiya Center Gai and the Higashi Yuenchi Park, at last reach down to the clock called KOBE  HANADOKEI. it made for many many flowers(about 3000), was the first installed in Japan on April 26, 1957. and it has kept with the big donation from Kobe citizen volunteers, nowaday. In 2019 it reinstalled to here  from the neighborhood in the Kobe City Hall. Now kind of flowers constructed this clock, is marigold and so on.
The Higashi Yuenchi Park where is the KOBE HANADOKEI is one of the important place for Kobe citizen. Because of have  the Cenotaph for the 1995 Great Hanshin Awaji Southern Hyogo Earthquake and have memorial ceremony on January 17 every year.

国道174号線は神戸税関前から税関前の交差点を結び、総延長は0.1871kmで全国最短の国道です。国道指定当初は現在の5倍ほどの長さがありましたが国道2号のバイパス開通に伴って現在の短さになりました。ちょっと珍しい日本で一番短い国道の標識があります。

この先にあるKIITOは歴史ある元生糸検査場であり、現在はデザインクリエイティブセンターとしてリニューアルされています。頒布会とミートアップが行われる予定なので是非立ち寄ってみてください。

Route 174 connects the Kobe Customs Office to the intersection in front of the Customs Office, and with a total length of 0.1871 km, it is the shortest national highway in Japan. When it was first designated as a national highway, it was about five times as long as it is now, but with the opening of the National Route 2 bypass, it was shortened to its current length. There is a sign indicating that this is the shortest national road in Japan, which is somewhat unusual.

KIITO, a historic former raw silk inspection station, has been renovated as a design creative center. There will be a distribution and meet-up, so be sure to stop by.

また途中にある神戸事件発生の地は居留地見聞中の銃撃事件があった場所であり、この事件は明治政府初の外交問題になりました。

Kobe's representative streetscape. It is one of the faces of exotic Kobe with many retro buildings from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods.

Designed by Englishman J.W. Hart, it was regarded as the best maintained settlement in the East. Even today, there are many valuable buildings that give visitors a sense of the atmosphere of that era.

The Kobe Incident, which took place on the way to the city, was the site of a shooting incident during a visit to the settlement, which became the first diplomatic incident of the Meiji government.

南京町は横浜、長崎と並ぶ日本三大中華街の一つであり、西日本随一のチャイナタウンです。東西200m、南北110mの範囲に100余りの店舗が軒を連ねており、点心を中心に食べ歩き向けのグルメが有名ですが、このスタイルのお店が増えたのは阪神・淡路大震災の際、被災した店舗がやむを得ずプロパンガスやポリタンクの水で点心や軽食中心に販売し、それが好評を博したからだとか。

異国の文化に触れつつ、ちょっとこの辺で小休憩も。

Nankinmachi is one of the three major Chinatowns in Japan along with Yokohama and Nagasaki, and is the largest Chinatown in western Japan. The town is famous for its dim sum and other gourmet food, but the reason for the increase in the number of stores in this style is said to be that after the Southern Hyogo Earthquake, stores that suffered damage were forced to sell dim sum and other snacks using propane gas and water from plastic tanks, which were well received by customers. The reason for the popularity of this style of restaurant is said to be because of the popularity of dim sum and other snacks.

神戸震災メモリアルパークは阪神・淡路大震災2年後の1997年に竣工しました。大震災の教訓、港の重要性、港の復旧復興に努めた様子を後世に伝える為、震災の爪痕をそのまま保存しています。どれほどの地震だったかの片鱗を感じて、そこから復興した今の姿を見てください。

また、メリケンパークには港町としての神戸の姿があります。神戸を代表する景観の一つ神戸海洋博物館やホテルオークラ、2017年神戸開港150年を記念したBE KOBEモニュメントなどが設置されており、記念撮影にはピッタリなスポットとなっています。

The Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park was completed in 1997, two years after the Southern Hyogo Earthquake. The park preserves the scars of the earthquake as they were in order to convey to future generations the lessons of the great earthquake, the importance of the port, and the efforts made to restore and reconstruct the port. Feel a glimpse of how much of an earthquake it was, and see the current state of the recovery from it.

Meriken Park also shows Kobe as a port city. The Kobe Maritime Museum, one of Kobe's representative landscapes, the Hotel Okura, and the BE KOBE monument commemorating the 150th anniversary of the opening of the port of Kobe in 2017 are located here, making it a perfect spot for commemorative photos.

2023年9月現在は老朽化対策、耐震性強化の工事中で、残念ながらポートタワーの完全な姿を見ることはできません。ポートタワーの様子はまた神戸に来て確かめてください。

One of Kobe's landmarks, Kobe Port Tower is the world's first pipe-structured building and is called "the beauty of steel towers" for its unique structure and shape. It was also the first structure in Japan to be illuminated with lights, and is an indispensable part of the Kobe cityscape.

Unfortunately, as of September 2023, the Port Tower cannot be seen in its full glory, as it is currently under construction to prevent aging and strengthen its earthquake resistance. Please come back to Kobe to see what the Port Tower looks like.

There is also the commercial facility umie Mosaic and the Wonder Wheel, the world's first Giant Ferris Wheel equipped with an illumination lighting function.

延元元年湊川の地で足利尊氏と戦い殉節した楠木正成公。江戸時代に入り水戸黄門として有名な徳川光圀公により、お墓が建立されました。理想の勤皇家として幕末の維新志士に祭祀されるようになり、楠木正成公を祀るため、明治天皇の命で明治5年に創建されました。

正月には100万人の参拝客が来ると言われている名所です。「楠公さん」の愛称で親しまれており、緑あふれる街中のオアシスに行ってみましょう。

Masanari Kusunoki died in battle against Takauji Ashikaga at Minatogawa in the year Engen. In the Edo period (1603-1868), his grave was erected by Mitsukuni Tokugawa, the famous Mito Komon. The shrine came to be enshrined by the revolutionary warriors at the end of the Edo period as an idealistic emperor, and was built in 1872 by the order of Emperor Meiji to worship Masanari Kusunoki.

It is a famous place of worship that is said to attract one million worshippers during the New Year's holiday. Nicknamed "Kusunoki-san" (Lord Kusunoki), let's visit this oasis in the city overflowing with greenery.

相楽園は神戸市の都市公園で唯一の日本庭園です。明治末期に完成し、昭和16年以降神戸市の所有になりました。名前の由来は中国の古書易経の一説「和悦相楽・わしてよろこびあいたのしむ」から。

19566㎡の敷地では飛石や石橋を渡り、流れや滝なども見ることができ、樹齢500年と言われている大クスノキや蘇鉄園も見事です。

重要文化財の川御座船の屋形部分だけを陸上げした舟屋形（現存する川御座船としては唯一）などがあります。

ルートの途中にある兵庫県公館は、明治35年（1902年）に兵庫県本庁舎として建設された施設で、今も迎賓館、資料館として使用されています。生きた歴史的建造物をぜひご覧ください。

Sorakuen is the only Japanese garden in Kobe City's urban parks. It was completed at the end of the Meiji period (1868-1912) and has been owned by the City of Kobe since 1941. The name comes from an ancient Chinese book, the I Ching, which says, "WA-ETSU-SO-RAKU, WA-ETSU-YOROKOBI-AI-TANOSHIMU."

On the 19566 m2 site, visitors can cross stepping stones and stone bridges, see streams and waterfalls, and admire a giant camphor tree said to be 500 years old and a sotetsu garden.

There is also an important cultural asset, a boathouse-style boat (the only existing river boat in existence), of which only the boat-shaped part has been raised on land.

The Hyogo Prefectural Office, located halfway along the route, was built in 1902 as the main office building of Hyogo Prefecture, and is still used as a guesthouse and museum. Please visit this living historical building.

神戸を代表する神社の一つであり「こうべ」の名前の由来となったと言われる由緒を持つ生田神社。

当初は新神戸奥の布引山に祀られていましたが、799年大洪水で山全体が崩落する危険があった為、祠から御神体を持ち帰り、現在地の生田の森に移転したと言われています。

また、平知盛を大将とする平家軍が生田の森に陣を構え、一の谷から生田の森にかけて一帯が源平合戦の戦場になっており、歴史的由緒ある森でもあります。

縁結びの神社としても有名なお社まで街を散策しましょう。

Ikuta Shrine is one of Kobe's representative shrines and is said to have been the origin of the name "Kobe.

The shrine was originally enshrined on Mt. Nunobiki at the back of Shin-Kobe, but in 799 a great flood threatened to collapse the entire mountain, so the sacred body was taken from the shrine and moved to the Ikuta Forest in its present location.

The Heike army, led by Taira no Tomomori, took up camp in Ikuta no Mori, and the area from Ichinotani to Ikuta no Mori was the battleground of the Genpei wars, making the forest historically significant.

Take a stroll through the town to the shrine, which is also famous as a matchmaking shrine.

明治維新後に、外国人居留地として開発された異人館街。第二次世界大戦によりその大半は失われ、阪神・淡路大震災でも残っていた内の3割ほどが失われましたが、それでも40棟余りが現存し、保存措置が講じられています。

1970年頃から観光地として広く知られるようになり、神戸の急坂に現存する美しい建物群は存在感を増しています。ミッションの最後には重要文化財であり、北野異人館のシンボルでもある風見鶏の館が待っています。

また、この界隈では中国、フランス、イタリア、スイス、ドイツなどの様々な異国料理店も多くあります。この辺りで食事などいかがでしょうか。

Ijinkan-gai was developed as a foreign settlement after the Meiji Restoration. Most of the buildings were lost during World War II, and about 30% of those that remained were lost in the Southern Hyogo Earthquake, but some 40 buildings still exist, and measures are being taken to preserve them.

Since around 1970, the area has become widely known as a tourist destination, and the presence of these beautiful buildings on the steep slopes of Kobe has increased. At the end of the mission, the Kazamidori-no-Yakata, an important cultural asset and the symbol of Kitano Ijinkan, awaits.

There are also many exotic restaurants in this neighborhood, including Chinese, French, Italian, Swiss, German, and various other exotic restaurants. Why not have a meal in this area?

布引の滝は生田川中流にかかる滝で、日本の滝百選にも選出された日本三大神滝の一つとされる名瀑です。布引の滝は1つの滝ではなく、雄滝（おんたき）、雌滝（めんたき）、夫婦滝、鼓ヶ滝（つつみがだき）の4つの滝の総称で、最も上流にある雄滝の高さは43mあります。

かつては役小角（えんのおずぬ）が開いた滝勝寺の修行場として下界と一線を画する地でしたが、現在では新神戸駅から遊歩道が整備されており気軽にマイナスイオンを浴びに行くことができます。

また、平安時代の伊勢物語等古くから宮廷貴族達が和歌や紀行文で紹介する文学の舞台にもなっています。
ミッションのゴールは雌滝ですが、足腰に自信がある方は是非雄滝を目指してください。但し、明るいうちに行くことを強く推奨します。

Nunobiki-no-Taki Falls, which spans the middle reaches of the Ikuta River, has been selected as one of the 100 most famous waterfalls in Japan and is considered one of Japan's three great Shinto waterfalls. Nunobiki-no-Taki is not a single waterfall, but a collective name for four waterfalls: Ontaki, Mentaki, Meotodaki, and Tsutsumigadaki. Ontaki, the most upstream waterfall, is 43 meters high.

The area used to be a place distinct from the rest of the world as the training site of Takisho-ji Temple, which was established by Enno Ozunu, but now a walking trail has been developed from Shin-Kobe Station, making it easy to go there to soak up the negative ions.

The area has also served as a literary setting for waka poems and travelogues written by court nobles, such as the Ise monogatari (Tales of Ise) of the Heian period (794-1185).

Note: Daytime play is strongly recommended.

二宮神社は生田神社八神の裔神を祀った一宮から八宮までの神社の中の二柱目に当たります。

生田神社が現在の地に御社を築く間、二宮神社で生田神社の御神体をお祀りしたと伝えられており、境内の拝殿近くにはその御神体を奉安したとされる「御幸石」が現存しています。

神社周辺には、神戸クアハウス、二宮温泉といった入浴施設があり、汗を洗い流して休憩するのもおすすめです。

また、三宮を中心としたこの地域は現在、大規模な再開発が行われています。いま見ている風景は数年後にはない姿かもしれません。それとは別に変わらない日常もあります。そんな街の風景を訪ねていきましょう。

Ninomiya Shrine is the second of the eight shrines from Ichinomiya to Hachimiya enshrining the eight descendant deities of Ikuta Shrine.
It is said that the Ikuta Shrine enshrined the Ikuta Shrine's sacred body at Ninomiya Shrine while the Ikuta Shrine built its shrine in the present location, and the "Miko-ishi" stone, which is said to have enshrined the sacred body, is still standing near the shrine's precincts.
There are bathing facilities in the area: Kobe Kua House and Ninomiya Spa. We recommend taking a break to wash off your sweat.
In addition, the area around Sannomiya is currently undergoing large-scale redevelopment. The scenery you see now may not be what it will be in a few years. On the other hand, there are some daily lives that will not change. Let's visit such a townscape.

湊川公園は新開地、湊川地区の中心に位置する歴史ある広大な公園です。

1911年に公園が設置され、昔は公園内に水族館や神戸タワーがありましたが現在はなくなっており、神戸タワー跡地にはカリヨン時計塔が建てられています。また立派な楠木正成像も設置されています。

東側には神戸新鮮市場が隣接していて、散策と神戸の食が楽しめます。

Minatogawa Park is a large historical park located in the center of the Shinkaichi and Minatogawa areas.

The park was established in 1911. There used to be an aquarium and Kobe Tower in the park, but they are no longer there, and a carillon clock tower was built on the site of the Kobe Tower. A magnificent statue of Masanari Kusunoki has also been erected.

The Kobe Fresh Market is adjacent to the east side of the park, where you can enjoy a stroll and Kobe's food.

昔の湊川は大雨が降ると大きな水害が何度も発生し、1896年の台風では大雨で堤防が100mに渡って決壊。それを機に近代土木工事の技術を用いた日本初の河川トンネルとして湊川隧道が誕生しました。

2000年には新湊川トンネルが竣工、通水し、100年に及ぶその役割を終えてはいますが、2019年には貴重な土木遺産として、国登録有形文化財に登録され、遠方からの来訪者やイベントが行われるなど後世に語り継がれています。毎月第3土曜日は定期一般公開が実施されており、隧道の中に入ることができます。

In the past, the Minatogawa River suffered major flood damage many times when heavy rains fell, and during a typhoon in 1896, heavy rains caused the levee to break over 100 m long. This led to the creation of the Minatogawa Tunnel as Japan's first river tunnel using modern civil engineering techniques.

In 2000, the Shin-Minatogawa Tunnel was completed and opened to water, ending its 100-year role, but in 2019 it was registered as a nationally tangible cultural property as a valuable civil engineering heritage, and is passed down to future generations through visitors from far and wide and events held there. Regular public open houses are held on the third Saturday of each month, and visitors can enter the tunnels.

みなとやま水族館は141年の歴史がある旧湊山小学校をリニューアルし、2022年7月1日にオープンした比較的新しいスポットです。

生き物と語ろうをコンセプトに約200種類の様々な生き物と過ごせる工夫が色々。

水槽は低く設置され、水槽の前にクッションがあったり、コツメカワウソやナマケモノにも会うことができます。

釣り堀があり、そこで釣ったニジマスを食べることも。

カレーやりんごサイダーも美味しそうですよ。

Minatoyama Aquarium is a relatively new spot that opened on July 1, 2022, after renovating the 141-year-old former Minatoyama Elementary School.

With the concept of "Let's talk with creatures," the aquarium offers various ways to spend time with approximately 200 different species of various creatures.

The aquarium is set low, with cushions in front of the tanks, and visitors can also meet otters and sloths.

There is a fishing pond where visitors can eat rainbow trout caught there.

Curry and apple cider are also delicious.

800年以上の歴史があり、あの平清盛も湯治したと言われる温泉です。

湧出温度が27℃と低いため、薪焚きで源泉を加熱し源泉掛け流しのナトリウム・カルシウム－炭酸水素塩・塩化物泉です。主浴槽以外に蛸壺という46℃の高温槽や低温槽ジャグジー、中温層の電気風呂に加えて完全予約制のおこもりサウナまで。疲労回復にもバッチリな温泉で疲れを癒してください。

This hot spring has a history of more than 800 years, and is said to have cured even the great Taira no Kiyomori.

Because the gush temperature is as low as 27 °C, the source is heated by wood burning and is a sodium-calcium-hydrogencarbonate/chlorides spring that is free-flowing at the source.

In addition to the main bath, there is an octopus pot, a 46°C high-temperature tank, a low-temperature tank Jacuzzi, a medium-temperature layer electric bath, and even a sauna that is available by reservation only.

The hot springs are perfect for relieving fatigue. The nearby Gion Shrine overlooks the city and the ocean.

Arima Kaido is the name of the road from Osaka and Kobe to Arima Hot Springs, and several routes exist.

Today, Arima Kaido refers to the mountain road called "Tennodani Koshi" that was built in 1874 to Sanda, where the Arima County government office was located.

Along the road leading to Arima is a place associated with Taira no Kiyomori, with a statue of Kiyomori and a retro atmosphere if you take a short detour.

大倉山は明治維新で一代で財閥を築いた大倉喜八郎が安養寺の約8000坪の土地を買取り別荘にしていた跡地を神戸市に寄贈した事に由来しています。

現在その大部分は公園となり、大倉山公園となっています。

整備された広大な敷地には四季折々の花が植えられたふるさとの森やモニュメントが多数設置され、歴史と緑が調和した格調高い公園景観を作り出しています。

Okurayama is named after Kihachiro Okura, who built a zaibatsu in his lifetime after the Meiji Restoration, and donated the land of about 8,000 tsubo (about 1,000 m2) from Anyoji Temple to Kobe City, where he had used it as a villa.

Today, most of the land has been turned into a park and is now known as Okurayama Park.

The vast, well-maintained grounds include a hometown forest planted with seasonal flowers and numerous monuments, creating a prestigious park landscape in which history and greenery are in harmony.
