The Christ in Us curriculum is designed for 3rd to 5th graders and fosters spiritual growth through engaging lessons and activities. It includes exploring key Bible stories and their meanings, learning about sacraments, and making moral decisions based on Jesus' teachings. Students will also meditate and create journal entries to reflect on their learning through writing or drawing. Lessons will address Catholic social teachings, linking faith to real-world issues. Assessments will focus on participation in activities and creative projects. Overall, the program seeks to deepen students' faith and inspire them to live out their beliefs in their communities actively.
We will also use Studio 3:16 this year with an integration of the Christ in Us book. Studio 3:16 is a creative program that engages students through various artistic activities while helping them grow spiritually. Through art, music, and hands-on projects, participants will learn essential values and biblical stories, fostering a deeper understanding of their faith. Studio 3:16 aims to create a fun and supportive environment.
