I am a violinist from New Hampshire who enjoys the styles of Classical, Celtic, Irish and Folk, and I'm excited to share my love of the violin! I teach children ages 4-18. I am trained in the Suzuki Method. Though I primarily use the Suzuki Method to teach skill and technique, I am sure to incorporate many other styles of music into my students' repertoire. Also, I am sure to facilitate a healthy balance of learning by ear and learning to read musical notes.
When I'm not teaching, I am either practicing my violin, ukulele, guitar or piano. I also love to sing and write songs. Some hobbies I enjoy are crocheting, cooking, skiing, and going on picnics.
I can't wait to make music with you!
Nature is the perfect environment for learning and growth. Aside from private lessons, students are invited to register for studio workshops, group classes, and more! Join this flourishing community of musicians today!Â
Music is everywhere! Take a moment to stop and listen to your surroundings; close your eyes and really listen. Perhaps you can hear the song of the birds or the wind in the leaves. Perhaps you can hear a dissonant tritone from an ambulance speeding by or the orchestra of many car horns in traffic. Wherever you are, music is there; you just have to listen for it.
