In the coming years, my primary focus is to gain practical experience and expand my skill set in preparation for a career in mental health and youth justice. I plan to secure an internship or part-time position in a youth-focused mental health organisation, leveraging my academic background in Psychology, Criminology and Sociology. Concurrently, I will continue to grasp workshops and volunteer work opportunities to build connections and better understand the community and community organisations in my fields of interest.Â
My long-term goals involve establishing myself as a reputable professional in mental health and youth justice advocacy. I aspire to complete my master's degree while working as a Youth Mental Health Worker or Youth probation officer, applying my expertise and experience to create positive change. As my career progresses, I aim to contribute to policy development, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in mental health and justice services throughout the country. Ultimately, my overarching goal is to make a lasting impact by partaking in research dedicated to the betterment of our mental health and justice services while working with the community.
