7:45-8:10am: School opens and students arrive.
Students will either sit in cafeteria to eat breakfast or sit in the hallway next to our classroom reading a book.
Students will use this time to get to the classroom from the cafeteria and will line up in front of the door in class order to enter the room.
Students will unpack, get ready for class, listen to announcements, and respond for class attendance. Students are allowed to turn and talk to their classmates in a quiet voice while still getting ready for class.
Students will be pulled in small groups for support, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring. Students who are not in the small group will be independently reading or making up assignments from absences.
Students will clear what they are working on and prepare to head to specials. We will line up and walk to our Specials location.
