My name is Alexandra Rendón, a mom, singer-songwriter, and guitarist with a deep passion for early childhood, and the creator of Miss A, a musical project designed especially for mothers, babies, and young children in their early years.
My journey brings together three worlds I deeply love: motherhood, music, and early childhood education. For more than four years, I have been supporting families in New York with care, dedication, and lots of music in both English and Spanish.
Miss A was born from the desire to create warm, inclusive, and nurturing spaces where mothers, children, and caregivers can explore music in a natural way—through play, movement, singing, and emotional connection.
As part of this vision, I also created the initiative “Moms Caring for Moms” , which focuses on supporting mothers during the early stages of motherhood by creating spaces of music, connection, and community.
I have designed and facilitated music classes for babies and toddlers, including bilingual sessions, working with more than 50 children and their families.
My work offers a gentle and musical approach, especially for mothers who are looking for meaningful ways to connect deeply with their children and enjoy this stage of life as much as possible. Through music, I help create moments of presence, calm, and bonding that strengthen the relationship between parent and child and make this stage of life more conscious, loving, and joyful.
I believe in music as a bridge that strengthens human relationships from a very early age, bringing positivity, connection, and happiness.
My background includes musical training, university studies in language and culture, certifications in pediatric first aid and childcare, and experience teaching both individual and group classes.
In every session, I offer my empathy, knowledge, creativity, warmth, and music to every child and family who joins this journey of emotion, rhythm, and joyful discovery.
