My email is madison1.viera@cms.k12.nc.us and the school number is (980) 343-6725. The best way to contact me is either through Parent Square or my email. I check both before the students arrive and after they leave. If there is an urgent matter, please contact the main office and they will reach me through my classroom.
Parent Square
We will utilize Parent Square for school, teacher, and transportation updates, as well as text messages. Parent Square will also be used to alert parents of urgent information, such as school closings, power outages, or unexpected early dismissals. Please refer to the attached documents for support in setting up your Parent Square app. It is extremely important that each guardian sign up for this program to stay informed.
Birthdays
If you would like to bring a snack in for your child's birthday, it must be store bought with the ingredients included. No homemade items will be allowed. Please be mindful of class allergies.

Snack
The students will get the opportunity to have snack every afternoon. Please provide your child with a healthy snack (pretzels, goldfish, fruits, veggies, etc.) that is easy to take out and eat. Please stay away from candy, sweets, and messy foods. Water only in the classroom (no juice) and make sure the waterbottles have a top. We will store them in the cubbies for easy access throughout the day!
