Lesson Plans

I taught this lesson to teach my second graders about sight words. We worked in partners and as a class to complete this lesson. 

This lesson was taught to teach the students about how to solve money word problems using addition and subtraction. 

I used this lesson to teach my students about telling time using a.m. and p.m. 

This fun lesson allowed the students to create their own Personal Narrative using a Padlet board. 

In this lesson, the students created their own compare/contrast chart to compare the similarities and differences between fiction and non-fiction texts. 

The students practiced measuring their heights. They first measured their classmates heights in centimeters, then in inches. The class created a graph to compare their data. 

This lesson taught students which measuring tools work best with different objects. 

This lesson covered several different book genres and allowed the students to create their own story using one of the genres as a guide. 

My final lesson plan includes Storyboard That website and Class Tools to teach students about making inferences and comparing/contrasting stories.
