ALL ABOUT ME

Welcome to my page! My name is Rebecca Herrity and I have been teaching for 9 years. This is my 5th year at BWE and my 3rd in 5th grade. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and now 5th grade. I have my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and my Specialist in Advanced Educational Studies, all from Augusta University. I also have my STEM and ESOL endorsements. I have 1 dog, Grayson and  2 cats, Willow and Walker. I absolutely love my animals and usually tell funny stories about my pets to my students. I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was 5 years old and I am so thrilled to be living out my dream being your child's teacher! Thank you for sharing your babies with me and I look forward to an exciting year in fifth grade!
