4th Grade

Hey, 4th Grade! Below you will find some video lessons, using songs we have done in music class, and maybe even some new songs. There will also be Youtube links to other videos that I think you will enjoy. Some videos will be from other music teachers, get excited to meet new people!

Note: I will be uploading more videos as we go. Don't feel like you need to do all of them or even do them in order. Pick the ones that look the most interesting to you.

Have a dance party! Learn a new poem about Spring. Then create your own poem about Spring.

Go on an adventure to find rhythm patterns around your house.

Create your own version of the Israeli Folk Dance, Zemer Atik. Send your version to me when you are done!

Create a movement piece/dance using Sudden and Sustained movements. See if you can find a piece of music that could fit your movements. I would love to see what you create when you are finished.

Body Percussion Echoing

After watching the video and learning the body percussion, create your own body percussion pattern.

Record yourself doing the body percussion pattern, and email or text a video to me. (Contact information at the top of the page.)

Create a water drum in the kitchen or outside. The directions are in the video. Enjoy!
