Reading with our second grade buddies is the best! A great way to end Read Across America week!

Winter Olympics 2026

Students participated in a series of academic and physical challenges as we celebrate and learn about the Winter Olympic Games! Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were earned for their performance on an academic-related task as well as minute to win it challenges. Congratulations to all of our winners!

In Unit 2, students worked to research different natural disasters and weather patterns. Students gathered information, created a text feature to go along with their findings, and presented their information to the class. Well done!

The Tiger Rising Whittling

After reading the book, The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo, students finished the unit by whittling soap, just like the main character, Rob!

Field Trip to Cedar Run!

It was a beautiful day to explore all that New Jersey has to offer! A game about survival, a nature walk, and an opportunity to view New Jersey native animals up close. A great day to kick off our next science unit!

Red Trunk Exploration

Students explored artifacts from the Red Trunk to learn about the culture of those from Oaxaca, Mexico!
