We encourage workshop contributions, including both lightning talks and poster & demo submissions, that present exciting advances aligned with the core theme: (i) Mechanically Intelligent Soft Robotics: Structural Design and Modeling; (ii) Mechanically Intelligent Soft Robotics: Locomotion and Physical Interaction; (iii) Electronics-Free Robotic Design; and (iv) Instability and Multistable Mechanisms.

We welcome 5-minute lightning talk submissions from early-career researchers and industry professionals. Seven contributors will be selected to present during our two lightning talk sessions.

We invite poster contributions from students, postdocs, and industry professionals. Accepted contributors will be notified and can present their poster during two 30-minute poster sessions at the workshop and on our virtual gallery.
We are calling for researchers at all career stages to contribute short talks, posters, and live demonstrations at the workshop. Those interested should submit an 1-page abstract with a maximum of one figure as a PDF to haitao.qing@berkeley.edu. Submissions should be related to (i) Mechanically Intelligent Soft Robotics: Structural Design and Modeling; (ii) Mechanically Intelligent Soft Robotics: Locomotion and Physical Interaction; (iii) Electronics-Free Robotic Design; and (iv) Instability and Multistable Mechanisms. The submission deadline is TBD.
Submission details: A select number of submissions will be chosen to give short lightening talks during the workshop. Other submissions will be accepted to present posters or live demonstrations during two coffee breaks. We would like to encourage participants to bring their live demos if possible! There are three prizes for the best lighting talk award, best poster award, and best live demo award each.
