"The MiSonGyny logo is inspired by the multiple representations that exist in the fight against violence towards women and girls. The dark color represents the struggle against discrimination suffered by this population. Finally, the musical notes indicate that this is a problem: identifying misogyny in the songs we listen to every day..."
Sara..
The figure of the woman inside the MiSonGyny logo is a fundamental element that cannot be overlooked, as it represents a powerful and meaningful symbol. It is depicted with her face divided into shades of purple, her eyes closed, and an expression that is serene yet firm. Her raised hand forms a universal gesture of stopping or rejecting, conveying a clear visual message of resistance and defense.
This gesture has several interpretations:
The raised hand is an act of resistance, a "stop" signal that represents the fight against sexist and violent language in song lyrics.
It highlights the need to set boundaries and raise awareness about the impact of lyrics on society.
Although the gesture can be seen as empowerment, it can also be interpreted as a metaphor for the silence that many women have been subjected to throughout the history of music and society.
The way the hand partially covers her face can symbolize how misogyny in music has silenced and made women’s voices invisible.
These colors ensure consistency with the visual identity of the MiSonGyny project and help maintain a professional and cohesive design throughout your presentation.
