We invite all students interested in research in mathematical sciences to attend the first annual Michigan Student Math Conference (MiSMaC) on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Hope College in Holland, MI. The day will feature two plenary talks and student presentations.

Free for students (includes free lunch)
$15 for others (covers lunch)

We also recognize every participant’s right to learn. During any talk, if you are not presenting, please minimize distractions for both the speaker and the audience.
The following behaviors are unacceptable, and engaging in any of them may result in removal from the conference:
harassment, intimidation, or discrimination directed at an individual or group;
disruption of presentations;
promotional presentations, postings, or messages unrelated to the conference;
capturing video, audio, text, or photographs of slides, posters, or fellow attendees without the presenter’s or author’s permission.
Our conference is committed to accessibility. Conference spaces and talk rooms are selected to be accessible to participants with physical disabilities.
Participants under 18 who are not enrolled students at the host institution must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, teacher, or school-designated chaperone at all times.
