Hi, I am Mohammad Mohaiminul Islam.


I am currently working as a researcher in EU H2020 Moore4Medical project, with the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences (DACS), Maastricht University team. My current cardiac signal analysis and synthetic biomedical signal generation with Deep Learning. Before my current position, I worked as a Research Associate at laboratoire de traitement de l’information médicale (LaTIM), which is a medical image processing lab under the University of Western Brittany & French National Institute of Health and Medical Research. At LaTIM I particularly worked with Prof. Pierre-Henri CONZE .

As of my education, I obtained my Erasmus+ Mundus Joint Master (EMJMD) in Image Processing and Computer Vision (IPCV) from three different universities across Europe. I completed my B.Sc. from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh. Earlier I also worked at BRAC IT Service Limited as a Business Analyst & Jr. Programmer for a brief period of time and went back to my institution (DIU) to join as a Research Associate at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. I was involved with the research cluster of Uttara Campus and conducted research focused on Sentiment Analysis & Bangla Hand-Writing comprehension.
