Sheikh Mishary bin Rashid Al-Afasy or Mishary Rashid Ghareeb Mohammed Rashed Al-Afasy is a Kuwaiti international-renewed qari, he is born in Kuwait in September 5th, 1976 ( Sunday 11th of Ramadan 1396 H).
He studied Quran in the College of the Holly Quran and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah ( Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia), in specialization ' the ten readings and translations of the Holy Quran'. He has read the Quran to Sheikh Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Zaiat, Sheikh Ibrahim Ali Shahata Al-Samanodei, and the Sheikh Abdurarea Radwan. He impressed number of great scholars of Quran.

Recently, Sheikh Mishary bin Rashed Al-Afasy has visited two mosques in the United States of America : the Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI) in California and the Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) in Michigan.

May they become sadaqa e jariyah for you.We are some mothers who learned Quraan and Hadith of RasulAllah SAW and now to spread the authentic knowledge of Quran in new generation we are struggling.I dont know why but since we were talking about a little school I thought we might try to find your contact info .We know that we cant even afford its rent.We are already renting a canadian public schools four rooms for which we pay which is more than the fee that we collect and little goes to the teachers.Its a struggle but since we see unorganized bida, based islamic education we want to bring children to the true lovely religion of Islam.We are in toronto.We pray to Allah swt to send us help .A little school waqf for the understanding of Quraan.InshaAllah Allah swt will fulfill our dream and send help somehow.Wa man yattaqillaha yaj al lahu makhrajawn wa yarzuqhu min haisu laa yahtasib.

In my country, there is an old lady,
She always listens to old songs (Rafi, Mahmood, and Lata) or sometimes to qawal.
In every song there are some phrases that touch the heart.
In the morning, she switches on her radio and listens to Al Yaseen, Al Dhukhan, Al Jinn, and Al Fatah, each day without forgetting.
But since almost one year, 24 hours a day, her radio plays only your Quran recitation. One can only hear your voice.
When I asked her, she told me that you are a person who has pleased even the angels, that the angels recite the Quran together with you.

I am from India, Bombay my name is Kaleemullah .Brother, I listen to your recitations everyday and cry though unfortunately I do not understand Arabic and later on listen to the translation in English. I thank Allah for sending you as a blessing for all the Muslim ummah across the globe and guiding all the Muslims in a way that just by listening to your recitation of the Glorious Qua ran. I am striving hard to learn & understand Arabic . I wished I was capable of understanding Arabic and learn about Islam early in life. This continues to be my desire. I would like to say that my family and I admire your recitation and kirat very much. Mashallah your voice is very pleasant and we pray that Allah (swt) bestow his rahmat and mercy on you. I would like to make one small request though, and that is that you remember us in your prayers and specifically, pray for the success of my mother's sister in finding a good pious muslim for marriage. Please extend this prayer also from the rest of our muslim brothers and sisters as well so that they might find ease in such a task as well. The purpose of sending this message to you is that my youngest son, I and my family are eager to make him a obedient and loyal son of both family and islam, but here in india we are not able to find a good preacher for him, since he is little bit naughty and does not follow what we say to him, I would request you to suggest me some school of islam werein both dinee education and worldly education are provided so that i can send him there and give a full exposure of islam and the world, so please suggest me some organisation were in i can put my son in a right direction.
