Age: 3 but has a human appearance of late teens

Height: 5’9”

Junim is a curious crow, perhaps too curious for his own good. The crow decided after his first year of life to make a change, as any crow can so they will say, and attempted to learn more about the human world. He watched them closely and chose to get closer and as a result earned himself banishment from his own flock. He has scars of scratches and peck marks that span the expanse of his back due to the banishment he underwent, and thought faint they can show on his human skin. He was an outcast and loner until he found his new family, and has since been nearly inseparable from them.

The curious crow {Junim}

Age: 3 ½ but has a human appearance of very early 20’s

Height: 5’11”

Aiden was born in captivity in a wildlife rescue center, he was part of a clutch of eggs that someone had found abandoned. After growing to maturity under the care of his rescuers he was introduced to the wild world. He wasn’t meant to be released but due to certain circumstances he managed to escape from his handlers and to freedom. He spent the next year or so living in a state park and eating (stealing) the fast food he could find. He grew a particular fondness for fries. After one fateful day playing a particularly annoying prank on a police officer, he was chased from the park and happened to run into Junim. The two crows managed to make a hasty escape from the danger and have been friends ever since, eventually considering each other family.

The feathered pie {Aiden}

Age: 3 but has a human appearance of late teens

Height: 5’5"

Keavy is the youngest of the three birds. She was adopted by Junim and Aiden as their little sister when she was found in the brush near a farm with a broken wing. They quickly took her under their wing and nursed her back to health. Over time the little sparrow warmed up to them and quickly thought of them as her family. They tried to teach her how to make the shift herself, despite being a sparrow, and after several months of trying and practicing, Keavy managed to make the shift to human! She doesn't do so as often as her crow brothers, but will if the need arises.

Collin Lee King is a current witch in training under the supervision of his sister, River and his grandmother, Millie. Currently he is without a familiar and only knows basic rudimentary spells such as shielding, transporting, and basic animation of non living objects. His room is in one of River’s unofficial libraries, not that he minds, he frequently is found with a book from one of the many shelves. He has been living with his sister since he was 10, the final year for him to start learning how to use his powers or to lose them altogether. His parent’s were determined to keep him from gaining his powers, wanting to have as they put it ‘normal child’, but due to many unfortunate homelife circumstances, he decided he would rather run away to live with his witch sister.

The awkward apprentice {Collin}

Age: 4 but has the human appearance of early 20’s

Height: 5’11”

Rhys is the mischievous, clever crow that is River’s familiar. He resides in River’s home in a room made to look much like a seaside home's crow’s nest, or lookout tower. He has known River for 2 years and swore his loyalty to her as her familiar shortly after meeting her. He wears a token gifted to him by River to connect their magic. As any crow can, he shifts often into a two legged human form to better serve his mistress. His crow form is mostly reserved for mischief and play when he has nothing to keep him occupied. He's ridiculously playful and loves to tease and play pranks on people. Surprisingly he likes kids a lot and isn't too bad with them either.

The feathered familiar {Rhys}

Age: 25

Height: 5’4”

Self named as River Rain Corvisbane, Born as Candice Lillian King

At a young age River discovered that through her mother’s blood line she had the potential to become a witch. At the age of 5, and against her parents wishes, she decided to learn all she could about her magical heritage and how her own powers worked through her only source, her grandmother. It would be only 3 more years before she decided she no longer wanted to live with her parents, their constant disdain for magic and displeasure in her interest causing her to move in with her Gram and truly start her apprenticeship. As she grew she found she had an affinity for potions and herbal remedies, and that was what has been her specialty since. With the help of her Gram and her magic, she was able to make her own cottage at the age of 19 and started her official business for remedies, potions, tonics and elixirs. She loves helping her community and will gladly assist anyone in need, going so far as to put them up in a guest room if necessary. She currently houses her younger brother, Collin, and her familiar and friend, Rhys and makes it a habit to adopt magical creatures.

The herbalist extraordinaire {River}

Age: Roughly mid 30’s

Height: 5’9”

Bug, named Bugsby St Charles by Millie. He was adopted from a shelter as a kitten and bestowed the name by his new owner. Though he hate’s the length and, as Millie would say, ‘Regalness’ of his name, he will answer to it. He just honestly prefers Bug. He has lived with his witch for more than 30 years, though he lost count of the exact number. Due to a magical token that was given to him by Millie, he is able to shift into a human’s form, and thus age as such. He is a bit grumpy at times, he lives with an elderly witch who forgets her age on a regular basis and attempts things a much younger witch should do so… can you blame him. Despite that he loves his witch and his extended family. He deals with the crow.

The cat’s pajamas {Bug}

Age: 62

Height: 5’6”

Self named as Millie Windwalker, Born as Margarette Mills, Margarette King after marriage.

Millie is the grandmother to River and Collin and thus their teacher. She taught River magic from a young age and continues to help and assist her in her continued education through experience. Though she has left most of the teaching of Collin to his older sister, occasionally she has been known to show him a few tricks and help him improve on what he does know. Millie currently lives in a home in the town of Sundance, Wyoming with her familiar, Bug.

The elderly enchanter {Millie}

Height: 5’4"

Kara was in an orphanage for most of her life, having been abandoned at birth. She grew up as a fiery soul, dreaming of the day when she would finally be free of the orphanage and allowed to be her own person. Shortly after she turned 16 she decided she'd had enough and ran from her shelter, taking to the streets of London. She started out performing for food and small change before she stumbled upon some travelers who taught her how to read Tarot and left her with a second new skill, seeing aura's. Year's of practice have helped her hone both her skill and her readings and she is able to make a living as a fortune teller. She travels on occasion, hoping to further her teachings, and if luck is on her side, gain a new skill.

The mystical orphan {Kara}

Age: 17

Height: 5’4”

Born to one Irene Adler, Enola was kept with her mother for the first 5 or so years of her life, after which she was placed with her father, Sherlock, for safe keeping. She grew up learning the science of deduction and started treating it as a game, one she was very fond of.

//I origionally made Enola a few years ago after getting into Sherlock the bbc show. The face claim I use is from the more recent show where Enola is Sherlock and Mycrofts sister I believe (haven't watched it yet) and her origional FC was the then Ellen Page, however I feel this one fits her so much better. Sorry If I cause confusion.
