More than popcorn and pencils...
...but there is that, too! Through building relationships with area businesses and organizations, we are increasingly able to garner substantial financial provisions to enable our students and staff with the means to not only succeed in the classroom, but soar. Through continous collaboration, we seek to grow these contributions in both scope and impact.

The vibes are good!
Many comment on the positive morale and mood the efforts the PTO inject into the hallways. Public education is a testing and tedious environment, but there is something to be said about learning and working in a culture where you are financially and emotionally supported by individuals. It is our goal to not only build up MISD as an academic power in the region, but to cultivate an atmosphere where individuals genuinely enjoy their time working and growing in knowledge and career.
Sponsorships allow us to buy books for all our PK-6th grade students every year.
We keep our staff workrooms fully stocked year-round, from essential cleaning supplies to fuel-inducing snacks and goodies, nothing is unavailable to our staff.
Supporting the PTO also allows our kids the opportunities to get out and see the world with hands-on learning by fully funding field trips around the State of Texas.
Teachers are never left empty-handed as we continously ensure wish lists and classroom materials are available for job success, and also the ocassional gift for fun, because teachers deserve a treat, too!
