木彫りの蜂(オオマルハナバチ)です。
春先に地面の近くを飛び回っているフワフワのぬいぐるみのようなハチがです。マルハナバチはフワフワの体の割にあまりに小さな羽を持っているから、飛行力学的には飛べないはずだと言われていたことがあるらしい。

This is a fluffy, stuffed-animal-like bee that flits around near the ground starting in early spring. It is said that, because bumblebees have such small wings relative to their fluffy bodies, it was once believed that, from a aerodynamic standpoint, they shouldn’t be able to fly.
