Here are my two volunteer experiences:
I volunteered with the Centro Educativo de Niños Huérfanos through the NGO ONG Voluntariado. This was my first volunteer experience, where I provided educational support to orphaned children in Quillabamba. Many of the children spoke Quechua as their first language, so I helped bridge language barriers and facilitated their adaptation to the educational environment. This experience deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by orphaned children and the role that education plays in their healing and development.
I volunteered with SEEDS, an organization focused on environmental preservation. Through this experience, I participated in initiatives aimed at raising awareness among young people about the importance of protecting the environment. It strengthened my belief in the power of collaboration, particularly how youth can work together to advocate for a sustainable future.
