It's me, Miranda - the one with the lens.
Photography is as simple and complex as capturing a moment and a story all at once. This is what I connect with when I shoot, and doing this is what brings me endless joy. From the live-action of shooting to the post-editing process, if I can tell a story through my lens (and there is always a story to tell), I'm enlightened.
Like many photographers, it started as a hobby nearly 15 years ago. Recently, my job queue grew large enough to speak. When it did, it said, "There's something here for you! It's big! You're your best self with a camera in your hands. Focus on this." And so I listened.
