It's me, Miranda - the one with the lens.
Photography is as simple and complex as capturing a moment and a story all at once. This is what I connect with when I shoot, and doing this is what brings me endless joy. From the live-action of shooting to the post-editing process, if I can tell a story through my lens (and there is always a story to tell), I'm enlightened.
Like many photographers, it started as a hobby nearly 15 years ago. Recently, my job queue grew large enough to speak. When it did, it said, "Focus on me! Quit your 9-5! Pursue the art that brings you and others so much joy!" And so I listened.
