Hi! Doing real estate in SF with Compass, and bartending a couple nights a week...
Working as ophthalmologist in berkeley and Guatemala. Wife Riki teaching physics at Miramonte. 3 kids in 20s.
See you soon!!
Back in Orinda in my old family home since 2005. Me and my husband are both CPA's and have a little local tax practice. 4 kids, Oldest daughter teaches physics at Miramonte (thanks to Andy Sorenson's wife)! Her husband works for Cal Athletics in their ticketing department. Next daughter lives in Utah with her husband and our 2 grandsons- Our 2 boys are both still in college at BYU. They both served missions for our church, one with the Navajo in the 4 corners area and the other in St. Louis and Buenos Aires. Love being back and bumping into "old" classmates around town!
Been living in Dixon for just over 5 years. Still commuting to Martinez for work at the courthouse, currently as a Probate Examiner). Expecting my first grandchild (from my only daughter) on Christmas. Obviously I am technologically challenged, as I cannot figure out how to add a photo. Fair warning, my hair is quite gray. You may remember me from choir, but now I only sing for animals and babies. When you see me, ask me about my chickens.
I'm living w/my daughter (age 15) and husband in Toronto, where I'm on faculty at University of Toronto. So sorry I'll miss the reunion; I'll try for the next, and look forward to seeing pictures of this one.
I live in Los Angeles with my wife, Efrat and three sons, Ori, Gili and Netanel, our dog Chaos and two cats, Maverick and Yamato. This will be my first time attending a reunion.
"Hi, I have been married for 35 years to local Campolindo boy. We live in San Jose and have two beautiful daughters (29-30). One lives local the other is down in LA living her dream !!
Worked in education for over 35 years and have been running my own in-home pre-school for over 10 years.
Look forward to reconnecting with many on the 30th."
On this particularly momentous 40th reunion I will be bringing my former husband, Lanny Ebenstein, as we have just gotten back together after 13 years. So exciting! Rachel, my daughter is now a big 4 1/2 yrs old, and all of 31 pounds. She makes up for size in personality! Lanny and I will see you all in September.
I live in Spain now but I will be in the US for my son’s birthday so I might make it!
I have been living in Lafayette, with husband Paul, for the past 31 years. Our two sons ages 26 and 28 live locally, in SF and Walnut Creek. I still enjoy working as a private tutor, as it keeps me connected to the larger community. Summers, you will find me in local pools teaching swim lessons. When I am not working, I enjoy playing Pickleball, hiking, and meeting up with friends. Look forward to catching up with everyone.
Recent grandfather (“Pops”), magazine editor, Oregon resident, tennis duffer, occasional social media engager, still suck at math (risky to use a math problem to prove I’m not a robot, tho getting it wrong actually proves it), relatively happy and healthy thanks to my close proximity to the coast, the mountains, and the Willamette Valley wine country.
Hi fellow Matadors! My update: I *love* my job as a Palo Alto middle school teacher librarian (have taught in Palo Alto since 1989) and I finally moved back to the East Bay during the pandemic... to buy my mom's ROSSMOOR home! Daughter Sondrine is a musical theatre actress in NYC and son Austin just graduated from college where little sister Erika *handed him his diploma*! I've enjoyed reconnecting with Glorietta Gophers and Matadors over the years and look forward to seeing you all!
Currently living with wife and daughter in a small obscure town in the east bay called Orinda. Daughter is a sophomore at local high school called Miramonte (class of 2026!). Practicing radiologist, mostly doing abdominal imaging and mostly working from home for Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek. Enjoy biking on the weekends with Bruce Burkhalter and Dan Irving and occasionally with Jay Vyas, Dan Jansen, Cris Kern, and Bob Spurlock.
Hey Matadors Class of '83! I've enjoyed reconnecting with a number of you over the past few years, it is truly awesome. My quick stats: 35 years career educator, finding my passion in community colleges. 2 sons who are adulting quite well, one working in Silicon Valley and one serving in the USAF. 18 years in Pleasanton, bonus: several classmates live in Ptown, too. East Bay is super special.
Looking forward to reconnecting at our 40th!
I’ve been mostly in New York since college, with the last couple of decades focused on my sons, now 18 and 13, who give great meaning to life!
I'm still local - been living in Dublin for the past 25 years. I'm CEO of 1st United Credit Union in Pleasanton. And I'm still skateboarding, though not as much as in the Miramonte days.
After working as an Engineering Manager at a software company for many years, I was fortunate enough to retire in early 2023. I'm doing a lot of (gravel) biking and some traveling. Living in Orinda but may try living outside the US for a couple years. My best friends are still my friends from Miramonte and I see them on a regular basis. Looking forward to reconnecting with everyone!
Living in Orinda and still teaching at Glorietta! Enjoying watching my 3 kids become young adults. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Susan and I were married in '89 after we both graduated from Cal. We've been back in Moraga since 2000. Our kids went to Campo and enjoyed being in all the musicals and a little bit of football, swimming and lacrosse. Paige graduated from Cal Poly and is getting her masters in speech pathology. Ryan graduated from Cal in '22 and is doing special projects for Roblox and Drew is a senior at Cal. Susan is a high school English teacher and I'm in the mortgage business and the editor for a Cal sports website called Bear Insider. Go Mats and Go Bears!
I am living in San Ramon, married, with one soon-to-be-married daughter living in Orange County. Still practicing education law (30 years now). My brother (1984) lives in Sacto with his wife. He is an attorney and has four kids. Hoping everyone in the class of 1983 is doing well. I look forward to catching up! Cheers to 40 years (yikes!):-)
Happily living in Montana with a herd of animals, working remote in operations for a small biotech in San Diego. I have one kick-ass kid who's in her final year at Boulder. I couldn't have planned my empty nest years better than they turned out! Life is Good.
Been in the bay area since college except for 2 years in Boston, live in Palo Alto with my husband; 2 kids, boy in college, girl a senior in HS. "Pretired" from career in what is now known as data science in 2013. Fill my time as a volunteer treasurer for non-profits (5 and counting) and also consult with non-profits to help with their information system needs.
Celebrated our 30th anniversary last fall and have 2 boys (24 and 27) who are both grown and flown. After 26 years living in Moraga, have JUST moved to Marin a few months ago. Retired from a career primarily in the San Francisco advertising industry and spending most of my time right now refurbishing our fixer-upper, volunteering, traveling, and wondering how 40 years could possibly have passed since we graduated!
