Odisha is a tribal state in the eastern part of India. The state has been prone to natural calamities due to its geographical location. It has been the main cause of high prevailing poverty in the state. The city of Bhubaneswar, the capital of the state has turned into an economic center in the recent times. The economic development in the state is rapid but this has not been inclusive. Several strata of the society have been left behind in this path of progress. The tribal population has been backward even today.

MIRA established in 2018 is completely a crowd funded organisation which works in various sectors of the society like education, health,sanitation, environment and poverty alienation.

The organisation works towards providing education to children up to high school level ( Class 10 ). The contribution is in the form of financial or substantial support in form of books, study material or stationary. The focus of organisation is towards children belonging to low income families, orphans and have a good academic performance.

The medical care provided by the organisation is mostly focused on non communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension. The facilities are provided in the rural level to the people who are unaware about the risk factors, diagnosis, treatment and importance of treatment in these diseases.

The organisation is involved in various other activities like collection of old usable clothes and distribution among the needy. This was the activity the organisation initially started to work upon. It defines our motto " If you have more, then distribute among poor. ".
