Happy Pride Month

June is recognized as Pride Month, an annual celebration dedicated to honoring the LGBTQ+ community and commemorating the progress made in the fight for equality and acceptance. Pride Month originated from the Stonewall Riots, which occurred in June 1969 in New York City. These riots marked a pivotal moment in the LGBTQ+ rights movement, serving as a catalyst for greater activism and advocacy.
