The Submission Made Clear (SMC) is a devoted initiative calling Submitters back to the uncompromised essence of Submission to God alone. Rooted in the original Quran—revealed to Prophet Muhammad and affirmed by the mathematical miracle unveiled by Dr. Rashad Khalifa (God’s messenger of the covenant)—our mission is to revive reverence for the Quran as the sole divine authority.

Founded in response to growing deviations within Quran-centric communities, SMC addresses a critical concern: the elevation of human interpretations, including Dr. Khalifa’s explanations and footnotes, to the status of scripture. This contradicts the core principle repeatedly emphasized by the messenger himself: “Follow the Quran alone.”

We uphold Dr. Khalifa’s legacy by encouraging respectful study of his work, yet we unwaveringly honor his Quranically-supported directive: 

“The criterion of obeying the messenger is that whatever he says must be in the Quran and be backed up by what God is saying. If it is not in the Quran, it is your obligation to disobey him.” - Rashad Khalifa 

Tragically, some now misuse his teachings, prioritizing them over the Quran or even redefining scripture to include all his material—a dangerous distortion that risks idolizing human thought above God’s preserved, immutable Word (55:2, 6:114-115).

The Submission Made Clear (SMC) initiative confronts the dangers of selective obedience—specifically, the disregard for the messenger’s clear warnings against blind followership and sectarianism. We uncover and challenge attempts to weaken the authority of the Quran, urging all submitters to reclaim both clarity and courage in their journey. Our objective is direct and uncompromising: return to the Quran alone. GOD commands us in 17:36 to verify all information and reject conjecture—only the Quran holds divine authority. And He reassures us in 54:17: “We made the Quran easy to learn. Does any of you wish to learn?”
