The saints selected for this tournament are based off of average ranking statistics from a variety of sites based on popularity. This enables almost all saints in these tournaments to be generally recognizable, or somewhat remember-able.
The Tournament
The Tournament
The tournament is comprised of 5 separate rounds, each with fewer and fewer competitors. The first round is comprised of the initial 48 contestants, each competing with 2 others based on a seed number for the chance to move on to the next round. Only 1 goes through.
The second round only has 16 contestants. From here, it is a 1v1 single-elimination tourney between the final 16, 8, 4, and 2.
Finally, the sacred, and well-liked Final 2 battle it out for who holds The Golden Cross on Easter!

Rules
There are some pretty basic ground rules that are upheld throughout all of the tournament that ensure fair competition.
Do not attempt to vote more than once per round per year per email address unless given permission by a staff member of the tournament to do so. We are able to see duplicate votes and quickly delete them.
