It was a dark & stormy night . . .

A man lay injured by the side of the road. Two travelers passed him by. Mysteriously, he is delivered to the doorstep of the quaint Mountain Vista Inn, where the startled guests, the butler and the maid (of course!), and the famous detective must use their wits to sleuth out every clue to get to the bottom of this mystifying whodunit. Mystery, candlelight, organ music, and strange pizza toppings all await as we join host Alistair McAlister in this Master’s Peace Theater re-creation of the parable that Jesus told about the Good Samaritan, A Not So Terrible Parable.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas!

This delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs.

2019 - Spring

A collection of funny sketches and monologues taken from familiar biblical narratives. Written with great humor and charm, these sketches are always in good taste and contain pointed truths recognizable to everyone. Each piece was appropriate and a laugh for audiences inside the church and out. 

2019 - Fall

Christmas is a time for joy and bringing hope to a hurting world – which is what the staff at the Bethlehem Inn strives to do every day of the holiday season for its guests! Throughout this musical, the theme of hope shines through as various characters in the story face difficult, real-life circumstances. From a couple struggling financially, to a teenage runaway needing help when she finds herself homeless, WELCOME TO BETHLEHEM encourages us to remember a timeless truth…“when it seems you just can’t go on, there’s always hope.” 

2022 - Fall

A collection of Christmas shenanigans presented through monolouges, singing and improv. The rush of Christmas shopping and quickly encroaching Sunday School pageants, all seem to overshadow the true meaning of the holiday. What'll it take to get our cast to get back to the true meaning of Christmas?

2023 - Spring

Three parables of Jesus (from the Gospel of Luke) that happened "along the road" are retold with hilarious characters and memorable music. Includes the Parable of the Sower and the Seed, The Good Samaritan, and the Prodigal Son. 

2023 - Fall

This heartfelt musical brings people of all different paths of life together in the most unexpected way…in the middle of an airport terminal on Christmas Eve. Filled with surprise, humor, and realistic experiences that many people face every year at Christmastime.

2024 - Spring

It's the 80's, school's almost out and summer is almost here... but before the bell rings, these students need to write an essay on "what is a friend?" This musical explores the themes of friendship and what God's friendship means to us. 

2024 - Fall

It’s Christmas in Herald and there’s nothing this small town loves more than its annual Christmas pageant...except maybe for their baseball team, the Herald Angels. So, when half the cast of the pageant comes down with laryngitis, it’s up to the beloved baseball players to save the day...if they can learn to sing, that is. But with their own invitation to play in the big city Winter Classic on the line, will the Herald Angels step in and sing? Or is the Christmas pageant doomed after all? 

2025 - Spring

Here is another Bolton collection of dramatic sketches that pullout all the humor stops. Each looks at some phase of church life with its funny bone fully exposed. The situations, whether in dialogue or monologue, will cause audience members to exclaim, ’Isn’t that so!’ Subject matter covers all the human side of church life; from the mad dash to get there on time to feelings of culinary inferiority at a potluck dinner. 

2025 - Fall

Beth has been practicing hard for the church Christmas pageant. Her Dad (who runs a car dealership), may be too busy with Christmas car sales to make it to the program. Exhausted from practice, with lines from Luke 2 swirling in her mind, she drifts off to sleep. Transported by Beth’s imagination (and a sound effect or two!) we all “wake up” in Bethlehem on a very special day, and in a most unusual place — the Camel Lot! It doesn’t take long, inside Beth’s topsy-turvy dream world, to encounter camel shoppers, sales people, shepherds, wise men, and a very familiar story, told in a fun and refreshing new way! 

2026 - Spring

An old knight tells the story of how he once knew a princess that broke her father’s most important rule. A rule about dragons specifically, something she should have known better than to break since her father is the ‘Dragon Slayer.’ In her defense, he did start off small and cute…though he certainly doesn’t stay small and cute! Things go from bad to worse as a knight, a lady in waiting, and a host of colorful characters attempt to rescue the princess without mentioning the dragon!
