Kerawang Kebaya

Designing a fashion boutique integrated into the community, the building functions as a socially responsive commercial shoplot. It's located along the busy old trading road, Jln. Kampung Hulu, by the Melaka River. The designer aimed to reconnect the contrasting economic (street) and tourism (river) behaviours on the site through an overlapped and intercrossed spatial layout with a celebrating air installation as building's main focal.
