Age definitions are set by the USAV and the ODR, our governing bodies. 

Example: A player was born on July 1, 2011, but is in the 7th grade. She qualifies to play on the 14's National, American, and Regional division teams (because of her DOB).

The chart below will help you determine which age group your child qualifies for.

If you're unsure which age group to attend, please email info@coastvba.com and let us know her DOB and grade.

10's Division: Born on or after 7/1/15 

11's Division: Born between 7/1/14 - 6/30/15

12's Division: Born between 7/1/13 - 6/30/14

13's Division: Born between 7/1/12 - 6/30/13

14's Division: Born between 7/1/11 - 6/30/12

15's Division: Born between 7/1/10 - 6/30/11

16's Division: Born between 7/1/09 - 6/30/10

17's Division: Born between 7/1/08 - 6/30/09  OR in the 11th Grade

18's Division: Born before 6/30/08  OR in the 12th Grade (maximum age of 19 years old)
