About Me

Minseok Ryu is an assistant professor in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral appointee in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. 

Research: His research interests lie broadly in operations research and machine learning, especially in developing optimization methodologies for decentralized and stochastic decision-making. 

Of Recent Interest: He is interested in advancing distributed optimization and learning algorithms, addressing computational challenges in decision-making under data uncertainty, and their applications for social goods, including health and energy systems. 

Teaching: He has been involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in operations research, linear programming, integer programming, and network flow models.
