Privacy Policy for Minos
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Minos ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. Please read it before using the App.
By using Minos, you agree to the practices described here.
---
The short version
Minos does not ask you to create an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not send your game progress anywhere. Your saved game stays on your own device.
The App shows optional advertisements. You are never forced to watch one — ads only appear if you choose to tap a "Watch Ad" button in exchange for an in-game reward. Those ads are supplied by Google AdMob, which collects some information about your device in order to select and measure ads.
Minos also reports crashes and errors to a diagnostics service so that faults can be found and fixed, and records anonymous statistics about how the game is played (for example, which level was started or completed). Apart from advertising, crash reports, and those statistics, no information leaves your device.

Information we collect ourselves
No personal information.
Minos does not ask for, collect, or store any information that identifies you. We do not operate servers holding your data, and we have no accounts, logins, or profiles.
Your game data — level progress, coins, purchased upgrades, and settings — is saved only in local storage on your own device. We cannot see it. If you uninstall the App, that data is deleted with it.
Two technical services do receive information, and neither identifies you: crash reporting and anonymous gameplay statistics. Both are described below.
Information collected by advertising partners
Minos uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded video advertisements. When you choose to watch an advertisement, Google may collect and process:
- Advertising ID — a resettable identifier provided by your device, used to limit repeated ads and to measure advertising performance.
- Approximate location — a general region (such as country or city) derived from your IP address. The App does not request or access precise GPS location.
- Device information — such as device model, operating system version, and language.
- Advertisement interaction data — such as whether an advertisement was shown, completed, or clicked.
This information is collected directly by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from partner sites and apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
We may add other advertising providers in future through Google's mediation service. Any such provider would receive similar device information for the same purpose.
Consent
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form before personalised advertisements are used, as required by law. You may choose non-personalised advertisements. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy options available in the App.
You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (typically Settings → Google → Ads), which prevents it from being linked to past activity.
Crash reporting
Minos uses Sentry to detect and diagnose crashes and errors. When a fault occurs, Sentry receives technical information about that event: the device model, operating system version, app version, the error itself, and a short trail of the actions immediately preceding it (for example, that a level was started or an advertisement was requested).
This information is used solely to find and fix faults in the App. It does not identify you, and it is not used for advertising.
Gameplay statistics
Minos uses Google Analytics for Firebase to record anonymous statistics about how the game is played — for example, which levels are started, completed, or failed, and which in-game items are bought with in-game coins. This tells us where the game is too hard or confusing so that it can be improved.
These statistics describe gameplay, not people. They are not used for advertising, and they do not identify you.
Where the law requires consent for this kind of collection — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — Minos does not collect these statistics at all.
Children
Minos is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate action.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information with third parties other than the advertising, crash reporting, analytics, and payment providers described above, each of which receives it solely to provide the service described.
Data security
Information transmitted by the advertising provider is sent over encrypted connections. Because we do not collect or store personal information ourselves, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, or to object to its processing.
Because we hold no personal information, most such requests should be directed to Google, as the party that collects it. You can also:
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings.
- Opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings.
- Uninstall the App, which removes all locally saved game data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes may also be announced within the App.
