Assigned legislator meeting time sent a few days before the event
20-minute group prep session before meeting with your legislator
15-minute virtual meeting with your legislator to:
Explain what occupational therapy is
Share OT’s role in supporting mental health
Ask for support of SF 1811 and HF 1044
Post-meeting debrief to provide feedback, sign a thank-you letter, and submit a screenshot/photo
Advocacy training & optional Q&A sessions available before the event
No prior advocacy experience needed—support and talking points are provided.
