So uh I’m apparently the president for this year. IDK how I got on the officer team but I’ll let you know that I didn’t bribe the club members 🤫. Anyways, I’m a 4th year Electrical Engineering major and I pretty much live in the labs. On the off day that I am freed from my studies, I watch anime. Some things that I enjoy doing outside of watching anime are reading webtoons, working on various EE-related projects, and eating out. If you guys wanna discuss anything webtoon/manhwa related you can talk to me, you could say I read a decent amount of them so I know a few things. A particular favorite webtoon that I love is Lookism, and I’m sure you guys will hear me talking about the new chapter very often at the club meetings.

My name is Josh Wonderlick, but I also go by J Wonda a lot. I’m a second-year Economics major looking to concentrate in finance so feel free to ask me how to make money. Also if any of you have parents who own businesses in OC or LA hit me up cause I’d love to work for them next summer . I would say my taste in shows are very mainstream with AOT, CSM, JJK, (certified MAPPA glazer) and One Piece being my favorite anime/manga. I’m the most well versed officer in sports so if any of you like watching football, basketball, baseball, or open wheel racing you can come talk to me. For now I work at the Chick Fil A on campus so if I see you in line I might be able to get you a bit extra. If you ever see me miss a meeting it’s probably bc work, or I’m watching my pookie  Charles Lecerlc winning a race (Ferrari copium). Oh yeah I forgot I also did track and cross country in high school so if I critique the running shows form I apologize.

I’m the secretary (i.e. email guy) for the club, Christopher Valdez. I’m currently a 4th year mathematics major, and this is my first year as a club officer. Besides anime I mostly enjoy comics, retro gaming, working out, cooking and model kit building. In terms of anime tastes I’m definitely skewed towards older shows and mecha series, but I do try to watch a variety of shows and will try out whatever is popular during the current season.

I started getting into anime during the pandemic lockdowns while in high school, and since then I've fallen insanely far down this rabbit hole. Hello my name is Jonathan Martin, I’m a 3rd year Computer Science Major and the scribe for Minna No Anime. The first anime I watched was Yu-Gi-Oh on 4kids tv and I watched it up until GX. I tend to watch anywhere from shounen to slice-of-life anime, but really only dislike horror cause there’s NO good horror ANIME. If you want to see what I’ve watched head to my MAL, however, I only made it last year so it only contains shows I remember watching. Also, I love playing multiplayer and single player videogames as well as the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG/Master Duel if anyone likes that too so we can play together :)

My name is RJ and I’m a third year biochem major from San Diego. I dont watch anime consistently, but generally I appreciate good story, characters, and especially soundtrack. I use MAL kinda like a tier list but my favorites are JJK, AOT, Made in Abyss, Bocchi, and Oshi no Ko now. Music is my favorite interest and my favorites are Pop, Rock, and many kinds of Electronic plus I follow plenty of Japanese artists and vocaloid. My top 3 artists no social skew are Porter Robinson, Aitsuki Nakuru, and Kikuo. I play a lot of video games, mostly RPG’s, Gacha, and Rhythm games (definitely no LoL). I’ve been doing parkour and freerunning for like 6 years with my brother and I have a job teaching parkour to kids. On top of that I did track in highschool and have been in hiking club since coming to Cal Poly.
