(cw: war crimes, authoritarian government, abuse.)
Seethe was born in an isolated section of the Free Cities ("Don't ask. You wouldn't know where it is.") — a coastal fishing village subjugated beneath other villages that warred around them. Kyros' authoritarian conquest loomed overhead.
Her mother had an affair with the Fenglau matriarch's fiance; cast off by the main families in town once her pregnancy was revealed. Vulnerable, her mother offered up information and her body to the Disfavored in exchange for safety. Disfavored soldiers swarmed their village the next day, and her mother's exile was immutable.
As a bastard, Seethe lived on the outskirts tending to her mother's deteriorating mental health - fearful of being abandoned again, she resorted to threats and manipulation to convince Seethe to stay.
Through an arrow gone awry while hunting, Seethe met her step-brother, the upcoming Fenglau patriarch, Luan. He believed their differences were fascinating (though she found him annoying), and supported her goal of leaving the village.
With hard work and a few pulled strings, Seethe joined their village's group of "diplomats" - however, because the places around them were accustomed to violence, it usually ended in bloodshed.
At twenty, she was imprisoned during a "peace meeting" on false charges and tortured for seven days. When Tunon found her, she gave a compelling argument for her release. Pleased with her use of the law, Tunon offered her the position as fatebinder. The alternative was death.
Five years went by - in the midst of their latest war campaign, she received a message her entire village was razed by the Scarlet Chorus. Her mother and Luan perished. Soon after, Kyros threatened to end everyone's life in the valley until both armies reached a truce. Kyros' "impenetrable" armies were filled with man-children and inane fights; it was the fatebinder's job to keep the wheel from breaking.
But for some reason, her fatebinder abilities were special. With confirmation, she struck.
Seethe cut down both armies; killed her mentor, and the one person she desired (loved?) most. She held the power to inflict miasma on entire populations, and keep the world at bay. Everyone still liked her, but they were scared.
Her next target was Kyros, the god.

Seethe is a very talented spellcaster, often mixing different kinds of spells to create dangerous variations.
Dark complexion with red undertones. Her eyes are brown, encompassed by light rivaling the sun when she recites an edict. Long black hair that trails down just past her shoulders, kept tightly wound in a ponytail braid. Athletic and statuesque.
Seethe is a trained servant of the law, the mask she grew for the title melded to her face. A placid smile for superiors, a stern face in front of lawbreakers. Stay a few minutes longer than appropriate - it doesn’t take long to notice she doesn’t hold the rules keeping her alive in high regard, scowling beneath gilded curtains.
Her actions often lean into radicalism, by means of being too cruel or generous (usually the former). A good player doesn’t have to rely on hours of contemplation. If they’ve played for long enough, it comes naturally (though her temper is a fatal flaw).
Held alive on a noose for years, her personal expectations for others are nonexistent. Never feeling safe or trusting anyone, Seethe is perpetually unhappy and depressed. At the end of Tyranny, she’s convinced there’s no other option than going to war with their authoritative god, aiming for enough collateral damage to wipe the rest of the world off the map.

Seethe is a half-elf sorcerer, born a bastard as her highborn father had an affair with a human. Raised and abused by her mother, Seethe took care of her in her later years as she stepped further into the politics within Baldur's Gate. Though she escaped death at least a dozen times, luck was not with her after she killed her mentor/lover due to unfortunate "ethical differences", and she was kidnapped by the mindflayers.
Seethe may serve as Tav or a companion.
wip (gotta replay the game lol)
A fledgling Ventrue turned by a lover gone sour, for the past couple years Seethe has followed the elite in silence, closely observing their moves (errors). She's often pushed to deal with their messes as a newbie, however slowly gaining trust with the other clans might give her the power she needs...
Seethe is the lead singer in a vocalist group with Vigil, Sonnet, Nergui, and Osha. A somewhat unexpected addition, scouted by Nergui and Sonnet for her confidence and history as a paralegal. She used to follow her mentor and others into exuberant corruption, drawing a narrow margin between politics and crime - until a harsh break-up became the last straw for her departure. Seethe is the face of the group with striking looks; anyone who encounters her off-stage would attest to her ambition to see their group rise.
A Noxian headsman visiting Piltover for an internal investigation on their spies, as they were found lacking. As far as anyone knows she's a visiting diplomat. She served as captain for a couple years; keeping friends in high and low places to secure her position - but she's still considered a newbie. Sometimes that's the safest place to be before one makes their move.
xx
Seethe smited Kyros and the world (Terratus) and ascended to godhood alone. She sacrificed everything including her humanity; appearance twisting to a scorched reflection of herself.
