I am a philosopher currently working at MCMP (LMU Munich). I hold a DFG-funded Eigene Stelle (individual research position) within the ANR–DFG project “Qualitative Grading in Science”, where I serve as Co-Principal Investigator.
Previously, I was a member of the Reasoning, Rationality, and Science group at Ruhr University Bochum and studied at MCMP. I also serve as a PhilPapers category editor for Formal Social Epistemology and Judgment Aggregation.
My research focuses on formal and social epistemology, philosophy of science, and decision theory. In particular, I study the relationship between logical and probabilistic beliefs, and the rational aggregation of individual probabilistic beliefs into group-level logical beliefs. I am also working on the governing norms of epistemic grading and imprecise credence, as well as the logic of epistemic and practical reasons.
