I am a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy at Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University, with research and teaching interests focused on Public and Nonprofit Financial Management.
I study how local governments and nonprofit organizations navigate institutional and fiscal constraints to strengthen financial sustainability and effective service delivery.
My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Public Choice, Public Performance & Management Review, and Publius: The Journal of Federalism.
I have received notable awards, including the Best Conference Paper Award at ARNOVA, Fiscal Sustainability Fellowship at the National Tax Association, the Oskar Morgenstern Fellowship from the Mercatus Center, and The Outstanding Doctoral Student Award at Georgia State University.
This Fall 2026, I will join the Department of Political Science at the University of Oklahoma as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Public Budgeting and Finance.
