Travel Information: Torino has an airport (Aeroporto Torino Caselle), with budget flights from several (but not many) airports in Europe. The airport is connected to the city centre with a regular train service, and with private buses.
Torino has many train stations, the two most important of which are: Torino Porta Nuova (very close to the Mathematics Department), and Torino Porta Susa (connected to Porta Nuova by a 5min trip by metro). Both have high-speed train lines.
Important tip: Torino is usually hot in summer, and a heatwave is expected for the workshop's week. The organizers will provide a suitable environment for the talks and the discussion session, but we expect the participants to move around the city autonomously for lunchtime, and for the journey to and from the hotel and the restaurant for the social dinner. Please be prepared for a heatwave, have suitable clothes with you, and bring extra protection (sunscreen, sunglasses...) if you are sensitive to extreme heat or sunlight.
