The resource persons Dr. Marcel den Dikken and Dr. Eva Dekany from the Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics Budapest are established international scholars who bring a wealth of expertise to the discipline of linguistics. Dr. den Dikken is recognized for his ground-breaking work on aspects of the syntax of natural language and its interfaces with morphology and semantics. He has numerous influential publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and encyclopedias. He is the (co-)editor of several volumes and special issues of journals. Dr. Éva Dékány is also a prominent figure in linguistics, contributing significantly to the understanding of morphosyntax and functional architecture in prepositional phrases. She recently finished Bolyai and Bolyai Plus projects investigated the structure of the Noun Phrase, with emphasis on classifiers in Southeast Asian Languages and Ch'ol (Mayan) as well as on complex numerals and PPs in Hokkaido Ainu (isolate, Japan). Her collaborative work with Dr. den Dikken further underscores their combined expertise in generative grammar and linguistic theory. Their participation as resource persons will undoubtedly enrich the program by offering deep insights into advanced linguistic concepts and fostering meaningful academic discussions.
