About me

Avery Browne is an 18-year-old sophomore at Oakwood University, where he is majoring in Theology with a minor in Psychology. A passionate and driven student, Avery is actively preparing for a dual graduate path, with plans to pursue both a Master of Divinity and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling.

Avery Browne is also founder of In His Name Ministries, a platform that seeks to bring young people into a deeper faith walk. Through weekly videos, and bible verses, this ministry is able to reach thousands of viewers on a weekly basis through all social media platforms. 

Avery is deeply committed to holistic growth—spiritually, mentally, and physically. His greatest desire is to inspire young people to remain healthy in body, upright in spirit, and unspotted by the world. He lives by a verse that reflects his mission and purpose:to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
