Our commitment is to ensure a better future for all by enabling participation and access to resources and opportunities for the marginalized sections of the society.
Our programs are centered around 3 aspects: empowering persons with disabilities, promoting holistic child development, and fostering gender equality. Our aim is Elevating communities towards a brighter tomorrow!
Next Up. The Next Opportunity. To Grow Sustainably. We, at Infosys, are strongly inspired by the conviction that ESG, more than a corporate responsibility, is the opportunity to play an active role in making the world we work and live in more sustainable, inclusive, and equitably prosperous. The fact that these programs have a cost implication in the near-term, with positive impact, for the organization, accruing only in the mid to long term makes it easier to justify ‘playing defense’ and conserving resources. The opportunity lies in resisting that pause-it-all urge, also because companies, which don't drastically cut their ESG agenda, benefit from an extended market advantage, not to mention sustained stakeholder goodwill. next opportunity to grow sustainably
A unique aspect of the HCLTech Grant is that the organisations are recognized not only based on the “idea”, but also for their power to transform these ideas into reality and thereby, transforming Rural India.
This year we have a significant evolution of HCLTech Grant, the flagship programme which aims to achieve sustainable rural development by supporting NGOs that are doing path-breaking work, anywhere in India. Effective this year, the HCLTech Grant will empower more NGOs with increased funding and extended project timelines.
We aim to be the cornerstone of our ecosystem for lasting positives ESG impacts. Leveraging the spirit and energy of Capgemini teams, and using our operational excellence, innovative assets, and added-value partnerships, we continually increase our ESG performance and develop solutions and services to substantially improve the environmental performance of our clients.
Therefore, we focus on nine material ESG priorities that have significant positive impacts on Capgemini’s business model and value drivers, as well as for our stakeholders.
In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, along with a set of 17 United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and planet, now and in the future.
Business plays a vital role in mobilizing and sharing knowledge, expertise, technologies, and financial resources to advance the goals. These goals also reflect our commitment to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, which Capgemini first signed in 2004.
Capgemini has committed to help achieve 11 of the 17 SDGs as illustrated by their official icons displayed below (more information on each SDG can be found on the official website of the United Nations). We believe that they best reflect our ability to integrate material ESG challenges in the way we do business.
Increased consumer expectations, global connectivity, and data are changing the way enterprises compete and operate.
