1. Introduction This Privacy Policy explains how MiniLauncher ("the App"), developed by Rick Royd Aban ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled.
2. Information We Access (Local Data) To function as a home screen replacement, the App requires access to the inventory of other apps installed on your device. This access is used strictly to generate your app drawer and search results. This process happens entirely locally on your device.
3. Information We Collect and Share We do not collect, transmit, store off-device, or share any personal data, sensitive user data, or device information with third parties. All operations, including app searches, alias assignments, and favorites, are processed and saved entirely locally on your device's internal storage. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking software, or advertising frameworks.
4. Permissions The App requests the following permissions strictly for core functionality:
Query All Packages: Required to retrieve and display the list of apps installed on your device so you can launch them.
Expand Status Bar: Required to allow gesture-based deployment of your device's native notification and quick settings panels.
We only collect and use data access that is strictly necessary for the App's core functionality.
5. Data Retention and Deletion Because the App does not collect or transmit user data to any external servers, there is no user account or server-side data to delete. To permanently remove all data associated with the App (such as your pinned favorites and app aliases), you simply need to clear the App's cache/storage in your device settings or uninstall the App.
6. Children's Privacy The App complies with the Google Play Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, as we do not collect any personal information from any user.
