• Exploring deep learning methods for enhancing music and art experiences.

• First-authored in HCMIR publication Annotator Subjectivity in the MusicCaps Dataset

• Co-authored in ICASSP publication Enriching Music Descriptions with a Finetuned-LLM and Metadata for Text-to-Music Retrieval

• Participated in the paper on a difficulty estimation of piano performance, in collaboration with Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Software Engineering Intern (Jun. 2022 – Sep. 2022)

TensorFlow Quantization Debugger

• • Made a debugger tool to easily compute quantization quality metrics of each layer in a TensorFlow model.

  • Created a NumericVerify op that collects dequantized and reference values for metric calculation.

  • Wrote Python API that executes the model, collects the output values of NumericVerify op, and calculates the metrics.

  • After the internship, the project was further developed into an internal service, which a full-time engineer took over.

Student Training in Engineering Program (STEP) Intern (Jun. 2021 – Sep. 2021)

Desktop Search Feature Configuration System

• • Defined the config to check the eligibility of triggering a desktop search feature.

  • Implemented the modules with test codes that compare the config with the elements in the search result.

• Search results about 'cast', for example, trigger a desktop feature that displays the result in a horizontally wide area.

• The project was to make a config system that automatically checks whether this feature should be triggered.

Highlight-Guided Diffusion (Sep. 2023 – Dec. 2023)

• • Develop an image generation model that incorporates text descriptions with scribble-based guidance that defines object size, place, and direction.

  • Provide a web application service for easy usage of the model.

  • Selected as one of the top 17 teams out of 51, advancing to the final round at the Sogang Convergence Technology Contest.

  • Participated as a researcher, writing code to efficiently compare existing models in experiments.

  • Led the project as the team leader of five members, conducting weekly team meetings and taking charge of communications with external parties.
