MiniRacingOnline is a freeware game designed by Vicente Mas Morant, a.k.a. "Kotai", in 2003, mainly as a Formula One racing game. The game was inspired by a speed test at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste, Valencia.[1]

Miniracingonline has many versions and features. Most of these features are heavily influenced by Formula 1 rules and any rule changes that occur over the years. For example, the game features a KERS(Kinetic Energy Recovery System) feature for all F1 cars as a result of KERS being introduced in the 2009 season of the Formula 1 championship. Other features of the game include qualifying, practice, race and time trial mode. And recent versions include DRS (Drag reduction system). Miniracingonline also consists of local multiplayer and online multiplayer.

OnPoynt announces our latest drone racing kits. This is First Person View (FPV) flying ! These mini quad racers are perfect for the young beginners. These Palm-sized drones come as unassembled kits and are perfect for indoor flying for middle school and above students. Any larger area like a gym, cafeteria, auditorium is a great place to fly The Scout.

Like all of our kits, it contains everything you need to start introducing drone to your classroom of younger students. Each drone includes 2 batteries and a charger, onboard camera and video transmitter, First Person View (FPV) goggles, and remote controller. We also include a set of indoor racing gates, marker cones, safety equipment.

Racing drones can be more challenging to fly so we include a drone racing simulator, one license per drone purchased, for students to practice with before taking their Scout up for the first time. The remote controller plugs into the computer via a USB cable to give a realistic feel.

Munich. The MINI Racing Licence is a new programme launched by MINI Driver

Training for particularly ambitious drivers with a passion for motor sport. The

programme teaches participants how to control a MINI in racing conditions on a

closed track and thus gives them a full-on experience of the car's hallmark

driving fun. MINI Driver Training has assembled a team of instructors brimming

with racing experience - and led by title-winning racing driver Claudia Hrtgen

- for the programme. Over a period of two-and-a-half days, the professionals

cover the key elements of racing theory and practice. The MINI Racing Licence

is recognised by Germany's national motor sport authority, the DMSB, and

therefore qualifies the holder for acquisition of the German "A" licence, a

requirement for participation in the country's motor sport championships.

Training concludes in the MINI Challenge Race Car.

The MINI Racing Licence programme was inspired by the MINI CHALLENGE, which has

become one of the most popular brand competitions around. The participants are

therefore building up towards a full-throttle racing experience. Their

preparation sees them getting to grips with three different versions of the

MINI. The budding racing drivers take their first steps in a standard-trim MINI

Cooper S and a tuned MINI JCW before rounding off the course at the wheel of a

genuine MINI CHALLENGE racing car.

Safe driving and precise reactions.

Safety also takes top priority on the race track. To this end, the participants

learn about elements of driver safety training - such as the correct seating

position, use of the steering wheel, braking, oversteer and understeer - in the

initial theory section of the MINI Racing Licence.

On the second day, participants then practise the type of precise driving

manoeuvres only possible on closed-off race tracks. These include slalom tests

with braking through the corner, evasive manoeuvres and emergency lane changes.

The participants are then ready for their first laps in a pace car and an

introduction to driving on the racing line. In the subsequent theory section,

which culminates in a written test, the instructors cover the safety

regulations in motor sport, the significance of the various flags and the most

important stipulations of sporting law.

Day 3 is all about the racing experience. After a warm-up, participants

complete their first timed laps before an assessed free driving session with

the introduction of flags adds the icing on the cake.

Some people (including me) feel guilty for driving cars that they cannot extract the full potential out of. It takes a lot less time to master a mini compared to a full blown lemans racecar. Thats where the whole slow car fast thing comes from.

I used to make fun of my brother-in-law when I saw the smile he had at the wheel of his mini.

And then one day I had one. Yes, it's not a monster of power or speed but it was so much fun on the small roads of the European countryside.

I still regret having to sell it (but my back thanks me though. If you are 1m80 or more, it is clearly not the best choice of car).

You had to try one to understand it (at least on european roads. Not sure that it will be so fun on big american style roads though )

This whole adventure started when Don Racine, a longtime vintage Mini racer and owner of Mini Mania, a mini parts emporium, called and asked if we might like to try out his MINI race car. Don had imported a European-spec car earlier this year and begun modifying it, a project we had been watching with keen interest.

Mini Mania replaced the stock anti-roll bar with a 3/4 inch, three-position adjustable anti-roll bar that was fabricated to help solve the understeer problem. Koni built a custom set of coil-over, externally rebound-adjustable Sport valved struts and shocks using threaded spring perches to adjust the ride height. These were matched to a set of Hyperco racing springs. The handling of the stock car was very soft with the stock springs and dampers, so after some chassis calculations, initial performance spring rates of 300 lbs. front and 250 lbs. rear were selected. These may change as the car is further developed, or if it becomes a dedicated racing car. 006ab0faaa
