To avoid BT issues there is the option to connect a USB cable (Mini-B) and use a PC instead. I like this much better and have used it with my new HP Stream with my home antennas. See the video below for a sample of the WinPCC software.

The small size is very nice and that makes using it in the field and outdoors easy. I normally do not use the BT outdoors because I have all I need on the Mini60 LCD screen. I can see the SWR, scan and check impedance of the antenna very quickly.

Jos PD0DDA,

i bought the same but it did not work at all.(it did not charged but the led status was fully charged but it wont switched on) I got my money returned and did not have to returned the analyzer. I opened it up and i did not find any battery attached in the analyzer. does anybody know what kind of battery i need??

Hi Rich,

I buy the mini 60 in China but it come without battery and bluethoth I go to buy Usb serial and the bluetotooth,

you have any info about install in the MINI60 the bluetooth after configuration ?

Thank you

No, I was testing a sleeve dipole. To avoid any damage to the analyzer I disconnected it every time I need to cut/solder something but left it ON without any load. Did it a couple of times, then when I came back to plug the antenna to the analyzer realized it was reading R=0.0000

I'm getting back into HF after a 9 year lapse. I have a General license though I've forgotten much of the knowledge. I still have my old Buddistick antenna and I'm also tinkering with a dipole hung from a 30 foot mast.

if you want to use it you will need to use the relevant DDS sweeper from DK2JK this time

-analyzer/tree/master/dds_sweeper2_2 updated to work with the VNA. The AD9850 pinout is the same as in K6BEZ version because it dont want to change anything in my hardware.

1, the installation software Andrews

2 , press the SET button to open the talent PC link

3 Press the DOWN button to confirm dc plug in the Bluetooth antenna head

4 Open the Bluetooth phone paired with the day assigned for 1234

5 Open Android software click the link prompts the connection point of the scan is completed successfully

The R&SZVH is a rugged, handy cable and antenna analyzer, designed for use in the field. The low weight and simple operation make it indispensable for anyone who needs to make efficient measurements outdoors when installing and maintaining antenna systems.

The R&SZVH can be extended by purchasing keycodes licenses. R&SZVH-K42 lets the instrument perform 2-port vector network analysis to determine the matching and transmission characteristics for filters, amplifiers, etc. R&SZVH-K1 adds spectrum analysis to measure occupied signal bandwidth, field strength and spurious emissions, etc. The analyzer can also handle more functions. It is an ideal, handy tool in the field.

R&SInstrumentView is free software that remotely controls the analyzer, preconfigures measurement settings, performs post analysis and generates reports. It can be connected to a computer or laptop is via a USB or LAN interface. Or simply connect a commercially available wireless router to the analyzer via the LAN interface and download the free R&SMobileView app on your smartphone or tablet to remotely control the analyzer or transfer files to and from the analyzer.

You may use the electronic signature via DocuSign to submit your information to enroll with the Rohde & Schwarz Customer Delegated Administration program. 11. Internet. If for any reason the Internet portion of the Draw is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of R&S or its third-party providers that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Draw, R&S reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Draw, and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

One of the inbuilt measurement features located on the second row is the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) mode. This is useful for determining the length of a cable, and, in particular, a coaxial cable. With this mode selected, the cable is connected to the test-port, preferably fitted with a suitable connector. A value of either 10, 50, 150 or 300metres is then selected, based on an estimate of the cable length.

This selection is not critical; once a run is made, the length of the cable and cable impedance is displayed, no matter what range the analyser is on. However, the graphical representation on the screen of the cut-off point may be out of range.

The rapid expansion of mobile radio networks has required network operators to increase mobile radio antennas and base stations, often under strict time and cost constraints. The new R&S ZVH handheld analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz was designed especially to meet such demands. Two frequency ranges, from 100 kHz to 3.6 GHz or 8 GHz, are available.

Even in its basic configuration, the handheld analyzer detects cable faults, measures the matching of filters and amplifiers, and checks the loss of cable connections. For further measurements such as the isolation between transmit and receive antennas or the output power of output amplifiers, options are available.

The analyzer incorporates wizards that guide users through procedures in individual, well described steps. Network operators can adapt the wizards in the lab to their individual test report formats and make them available for use on site. Predefined test reports in various file formats make it easy to demonstrate that assignments were properly executed.

The 194  300  69 mm instrument weighs 3 kg and frequently used functions have their own function keys. The color display is easy to read and there is a monochrome mode for extreme conditions. The capacity of the battery enables uninterrupted operation for up to 4.5 hours. The analyzers conform to protection class IP51 and feature splash-proof, dust-protected connectors.

The R&S ZVH comes with options for spectrum and network analysis and spectrogram display, which cover applications such as spectrum analysis, field strength measurements, signal monitoring and interference hunting. Using external power sensors, it can also operate as a power meter. When used with a directional power sensor, the analyzer can simultaneously measure antenna matching and transmitter output power up to 300 W.

A busy construction site is no place for the faint hearted when the radio network goes down. When the machines stop working, the pressure is on to get the problem fixed and the clock is ticking. Everyone has an opinion, one operator reckons the base has gone down, another suggests radio interference from the construction crew that has just moved in down the road and the excavator operator just wants to blame the latest "out of tolerence" report on a dodgy radio antenna.

The NanoVNA is an amazing little tool that can be used in the field to check the antenna signal noise ratio (SNR) and frequency tuning. This will help determine if the correct antenna is selected for your application and the continuity of the connections. You can also download a free Windows PC application "NanoVNA Saver" for use in the office.

This electromagnetic enhancement (EM) mechanism is associated with the excitation of surface plasmons and the strength of their EM fields near the surface. These fields can be significantly stronger than the incident fields. Theory has shown that if the tip is illuminated, a strong enhancement of the EM field can occur in the narrow space between the tip itself and the sample (consisting of an ideally metallic substrate on which are deposited adsorbates or nanomaterials). The metalized tip acts as an optical antenna that enhances both the incident and the emitted fields, in a region defined by the size of the tip apex (typically less than 30 nm).

Field Master Pro MS2090A spectrum analyzer and NEON Signal Mapper MA8100A are the ideal solution for anyone conducting coverage testing of RF and microwave communications systems, including 5G systems operating in both FR1 (6 GHz) bands and testing of indoor DAS systems. P/N: 11410-01123

This application note focuses on finding PIM that is located on a rooftop or tower external to the antenna, also known as PIM hunting. These external PIM sources are much harder to resolve as they require searching over a rooftop or even beyond the edge of the roof. P/N: 11410-02839

The Anritsu easyTest Tools PIM Alert application provides a quick and easy-to-use tool that runs on standard BTS Master and Spectrum Master as well as Site Master instruments with the spectrum analyzer option. P/N: 11410-00865

Consumer electronics manufacturers find it very difficult to validate antenna performance of a device-under-test (DUT) after the assembly is completed. It's challenging to find an affordable power sensor that provides broadband frequency and power level coverage. The Power Master at nearly the size of a smart phone can free up workbench space while offering a more affordable solution. P/N: 11410-02899.

In this application brief we are providing the solution where users can connect remotely and monitor multiple power masters which are connected to individual Mini PCs. These mini PCs and Host PC or Laptop are all connected to an Ethernet switch which connects to a local corporate network. P/N: 11410-02902

In order to implement the proposed application, a submersible electromagnetic printed sensor presented by the authors in [30] is used. The sensor is based on a pair of printed rectangular split-ring resonators (SRRs) coupled to a microstrip line. The SRRs introduce a notch in the transmission coefficient (S21sens) between the ports of the microstrip line. The sensing principle relies on the frequency shift of the notch when the SRRs are submersed into different LUTs. In [30] it has been demonstrated that the sensor nocth varies between 1.6 and 1.9 GHz, corresponding to a relative permittivity range between 1 and 9. In this work it has been tested with permittivities between 1 and 6, due to the impossibility to find non-polar liquids with relative permittivities out of that range. In order to make a wireless system, the sensor ports are connected to two patch antennas which are presented in Section 2.2. The authors are working on the integration of the sensor and its antennas, but this topic is out of the scope of the present article. 2351a5e196
