Privacy Policy for Mini Phone
Effective Date: June 12, 2026
Mini Phone is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Mini Phone multitasking overlay sidebar application (“Mini Phone”, “the app”).
Mini Phone does not require or support user account creation, registration, or login.
All user preferences, virtual points, and ad-removal status are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences.
Mini Phone does not directly collect or store personally identifiable information. However, we integrate trusted third-party SDKs to provide essential services such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and billing. These services may collect and process certain data as described below.
A. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays ads to support free features. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
Device identifiers, including Advertising ID (Ad ID)
Approximate location (coarse location derived from IP address)
Ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks, and engagement metrics
B. Analytics and Diagnostics (Firebase Analytics & Firebase Crashlytics)
To improve app stability and performance, we use Firebase services:
Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data such as screen views, button interactions, purchases, and device language preferences
Firebase Crashlytics: Automatically collects anonymous crash reports, stack traces, and system diagnostics when errors or crashes occur
C. In-App Payments (Google Play Billing)
All purchases (virtual points or ad removal) are processed securely through Google Play Billing.
Mini Phone does not collect or store credit card details or financial information. We only receive purchase verification tokens to unlock purchased features locally on your device.
To provide multitasking and browser functionality, Mini Phone requests the following permissions. Any data involved is processed temporarily on-device and is not stored or transmitted by Mini Phone.
Overlay Permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW):
Allows the sidebar to appear over other apps. This function operates entirely on the device.
Camera (CAMERA) & Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO):
Used only to pass live camera and microphone access directly to embedded web pages loaded by the user inside the app’s WebView (for example, web-based video calls).
Mini Phone does not record, store, capture, or transmit any audio or video data.
Mini Phone includes a WebView-based browser environment. Websites accessed through the app may store cookies or local web storage on your device.
You can clear all such data at any time by clearing the Mini Phone app storage via your Android system settings.
Data transmitted by third-party SDKs used in Mini Phone (including advertising, analytics, and billing services) is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS.
While we follow industry-standard security practices, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Since Mini Phone does not use user accounts, we do not store personal profiles.
You may delete all locally stored app data (preferences, points, billing logs) by clearing the app’s cache or data in Android settings.
If you wish to request deletion of any anonymous analytics or crash diagnostics associated with your installation, you may contact us using the email address below.
Mini Phone is intended for users aged 18 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date at the top.
